The name of a Colorado waterfall that was named after a woman who passed away in a fall has gone viral.
The Colorado River Valley Waterfalls Association in Colorado announced the name on Thursday for the Colorado River Falls in Pueblo.
The association said in a news release that a local woman died in 2015 while walking in the falls with her family.
They say she was in her early 20s.
The association said she was found with a fractured skull and brain injuries and was pronounced dead.
The name was chosen after an online poll was started in November.
The waterfalls are about an hour from Pueblos city limits.
