On this week’s episode of CNN Health, Dr. Amy Hough of the University of Michigan Health System and colleagues explain what a pond in a lake would cost to maintain.
The researchers also looked at the cost of a pond’s drainage, sedimentation and stormwater management.
They found that a pond would cost $3.8 million to $5.2 million in the state.
But that was only when the pond was built as a drainage system.
If the pond had a levee and the lake was an estuary, the cost would be even higher, the study said.
The cost of stormwater runoff was a little more complicated.
The researchers estimated that a stormwater system at the pond would run $4.4 million.
But they said that the cost for stormwater on the pond’s land and in the lake could be as high as $9 million.
The cost for runoff on the lake and on land would be $4 billion, according to the study.
